Air Sahara Airlines, presently known as Jet Lite, started its operations in 1993. Initially, the airlines started working as Sahara Airlines with two Boeing 737-200 aircrafts. On 2nd October 2000, the airline came to be known as Air Sahara. The airline has its main base at New Delhi. Presently a part of the Sahara India Pariwar, the airline provides its operations in various domestic and international destinations. The airline was taken over by Jet Airways on 12th April 2007, and after that came to be known as Jet Lite.
